Wow—where do we even begin? Working with Jessie was like taking a deep breath of fresh air during a naturally stressful time. She was our cheerleader, our navigator, our go-to person; always in our corner, advocating for our vision and making sure every detail was just right. Dominic and I knew planning a wedding would come with its challenges, especially with us living overseas in Australia and wanting to host the celebration at my family’s cottage in Haliburton. Choosing Jessie was hands-down the best decision we made. She was instrumental in navigating the complexities of planning a wedding from afar and helped us secure the best local vendors and deals. We wanted to hold our reception locally and Jessie found us a gem and guided us through planning with a venue that had never hosted an event of our size before. This naturally came with its own set of hurdles, but Jessie handled every challenge with professionalism and grace. She ensured our voices were heard, our concerns were addressed, and that the final outcome reflected the event we had dreamed of. She attended every vendor meeting (and often represented us when we couldn’t be there), took detailed notes, asked thoughtful questions we hadn’t considered, and made sure no detail fell through the cracks. Her presence gave us the reassurance and confidence we needed every step of the way. Jessie also brought creativity and insight—offering thoughtful ideas and suggestions that became some of our favourite parts of the day. She helped us refine our ideas into a cohesive vision and turned my chaotic Pinterest board into a stunning reality. Every detail was thought of and she ensured that the two different event spaces worked in harmony together. Despite time zones and distance, Jessie was incredibly prompt, flexible, and clear in her communication; using multiple platforms to keep everything organised and visible. In the days leading up to the wedding, when a few unexpected curveballs were thrown our way, Jessie took everything in stride and handled each issue so smoothly that what could have been major stressors barely registered as hiccups. She was on the ball, confident, and took each hurdle on with a positive attitude. She worked behind the scenes on the big day making sure we were not burdened with minor issues and we felt comfortable directing guests her way with any questions. We could go on, but the most important thing to know is this: Jessie brings the sparkle and magic to a wedding. She is passionate, capable, endlessly kind, and without her, our day wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was. Thank you, Jessie — from the bottom of our hearts.
