Sorry for the length but Jessie not only did everything she promised when we first met but went above and beyond in every way. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking to get married. If you don't trust me or if you want to know exactly how she made our day the best day ever please read below.
My wife and I got married in the summer of 2023 at our family cottage in Haliburton. Living in London Ontario we knew we needed some assistance in the planning process and some help from someone in Haliburton. When we first contacted Jessie we weren't sure what to expect and we're a little nervous about our requests. To put things into perspective we wanted to have approx. 170 guests at the venue with a ceremony, catering and DJ and dance floor. All the guests would need to stay off site and we would need bus transit to take everyone back and forth (45 min drive).
Jessie immediately reassured us that everything was reasonable and gave references and past experiences to give us confidence in her and confidence that our day would be like we wanted. We booked with her about 16 months before the big day and she immediately started organizing big stressful items. We would receive emails with multiple options for each of our wants and recommendations based on her past experiences. This was extremely helpful and allowed us to quickly find a caterer, DJ, Hair and Makeup personal and an officiant. Most items were 4 emails where we were given choices and then given the contract and payment information to complete. It felt very streamlined and Jessie was always quick with responding.
We had challenges meeting in person due to Covid, distance between us, mine and my wife's schedule, and the fact that our cottage was only open in the summer when Jessie had other weddings going on. In fact, only my wife had met Jessie in person prior to the big day. Dispute this Jessie went out of her way to visit the venue multiple times and find time to walk through the day with our caterer and family at that time. By the time we were a week out Jessie had everything figured out and had backup plans if there were any unforeseen issues (which there were). I'm also unsure if this was on purpose or not but I am very grateful for it; we had a bus cancellation a week before the day and Jessie contacted me (and only me) giving me all the information I needed. This message was laid out "problem/reason for problem/solution A/solution B/timeframe to resolve/cost and contract to sign". This is what impressed me the most in the planning process. First of all, I could understand what happened and I could make a choice immediately and resolve the issue. Second of all, if my fiance had received the message she might have had a heart attack as she was dealing with a lot of other things. This understanding of where we were and what we needed at this time really impressed me and gave us minimal stress and ultimately the best solution.
Going into the big day I was very thankful for Jessie helping us and thought it would have been very difficult to have done it by ourselves. At this point I was satisfied with what we had received and felt confident going into our wedding. But this is where Jessie blew me away. She had told us she would be with us all day and that she would have an assistant incase we needed any help just to make sure things "run smoothly". It was the complete opposite from my perspective. Jessie ran the entire day. It seemed like there were 3 of her constantly making sure everything and everyone was where they needed to be. Constantly putting out fires and solving other people's problems that were completely unrelated to the wedding. There were multiple times where she would grab me and give me a rundown of what was happening and what was happening next. There were multiple times she would see me looking around and ask me what I needed and she would solve the issue for me right away. A few of these times I know she was in the same state as me but her ability to prioritize and keep things running was unmatched. These solutions went unnoticed to the guests and we had many comments regarding how smooth and effortless the day went. One thing that stood out was her on the fly decision to delay parts of the meal as our friends were talking too much and enjoying their time in the moment. This decision made the day flow more organically and prioritized the guests' experience.
Jessie was an absolute rockstar that day and I know there is no way we would have had such a great day without her being there. Her ability to relieve our stress, solve our variety of strange requests and problems and her ability to prioritize what was important to us and our guest to make even the issues turn out better than the plan reinforced the fact that our choice to work with Jessie was the right one. I can't say we will use Jessie again (we both hope this is our last wedding) but I would recommend her to absolutely everyone else with confidence that she could do anything to make your wedding dreams come true.

"Hiring Jessie Stamp as our Wedding Coordinator was, by far, the best decision we could have made to ensure our big day went as flawlessly as possible. In the lead up to our wedding, Jessie was a voice of reason, relaying her extensive experience on to us in a thoughtful and helpful way. Being a first time bride (as the vast majority of us are), I relied on Jessie for advice on everything from florals to appetizers and her ideas were always truly inspired (and budget concious). In the weeks before the wedding, I was under quite a bit of stress preparing the final details that only a bride can organize, but calls/texts from Jessie kept everything in perspective and reminded me that all the plans were in good hands with her. Jessie was instrumental in organizing the bridal party and family at the rehearsal dinner, knowing it was important to us to ensure everyone knew where they had to be on the wedding day. Every one of our family members and friends loved Jessie and appreciated her presence at our intimate family dinner. Our Wedding Day was absolutely perfect thanks to Jessie’s management. Jessie organized our many vendors, the bridesmaids and groomsmen, picked up all of our flowers and finalized the decor, making tour outdoor ceremony space look magical. It began raining an hour before our lakeside ceremony was set to commence and Jessie wholeheartedly supported my decision to move forward with having the wedding outdoors, which turned out beautiful. I’ll never forget a moment after the ceremony when I saw Jessie, dripping wet from the rain, putting away all of our flowers and sound equipment with a smile on her face. That moment perfectly exemplifies how much Jessie cares and how much she can handle. The challenges for Jessie didn’t stop there; when she arrived at the reception location for the cocktail hour, she realized the DJ was over 90 minutes late. Quick to act in a ‘wedding crisis’, Jessie organized backup music for the cocktail hour (a speaker & iPod) and got in touch with the DJ, ushered him in and helped him to set up so that none of our guests were the wiser. I only found out about the missing DJ after the wedding day, which is fantastic as those are exactly the types of issues you don’t want to worry about as a bride!"
